BEND, Ore. (AP) -- An injured Oregon eagle that was revived by a Bend veterinarian last summer with mouth-to-beak resuscitation has been nursed back to health.
The Bulletin reports ( http://bit.ly/vhSgpr ) the eagle named Patriot will never fly again because of the injuries suffered when he was hit by a car.
He will have a permanent home at the Blue Mountain Wildlife Center in Pendleton.
Patriot is having a graduation party Friday at the Sunriver Nature Center in Bend.
