    President-elect Donald Trump has named Oregon Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer to lead the Department of Labor, elevating a Republican congresswoman who has strong support from unions in her district but lost reelection in November. This month, the theme is a "Healthy You" and the House of Umoja is partnering with local agencies to provide relevant information to the community about H1N1, domestic violence, school-based health centers and other important health information. This is a perfect opportunity to meet with others, as well as receive pertinent information about health.
The Third Thursday event starts at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 at Lifeworks NW Umoja Center, 4941 NE 17th Ave.
